I was having excruciating nerve pain. I couldn’t sleep, had a hard time even holding my phone even. I was at my wits end. Justin from Kats sent me a bottle of the 1020 full spectrum CBD. I was told that it would take a few days to build up in my system. I took 5 drops the first time and felt it within 10-15 minutes. I was even able to sleep. I was so thankful that it worked instantly. On day 5 it was even better! I now use the 600 mg daily and use the 1020 on high pain days. I’d recommend this to anyone and I’m super excited to try the new CBD products that’s to come!

Correct Answer: Each batch of flower AND finished product should be tested by a state certified testing facility for potency, legality and safety. These test results should also be made available to any patient that requests them. These tests should certify 3 things: the amount of CBD contained in the product, the amount of THC in the product (the starting hemp plant material must test below 0.3%), and the lack of mold or toxic pesticides.
Sanchez explains further, “chemotherapy attacks every single cell in our body that is undergoing proliferation. Every cell that is dividing will be attacked by chemotherapy. And which cells are dividing in our body? First cancer cells of course, those are the ones you want to kill, but also the cells of your immune system, the cells of your stomach and a lot of tissues. So that’s why chemotherapy is so toxic because it’s not only attacking cancer cells but other cells that are proliferating inside our bodies. And the difference with cannabinoids is that these compounds only attacked cancer cells. We don’t understand why yet in molecular terms. We don’t know what makes a cancer cell different in terms of the sensitivity to cannabinoids, but we know that this is a fact. Cannabinoids kills cancer cells and they do not affect the viability of non-cancer cells.”

So a full spectrum decarb got higher points than isolate (“decarb” just refers to the process of decarboxylation which turns raw CBD into activated CBD). We also gave more points to companies with a “broad spectrum” tincture. Broad spectrum CBD oil includes a range of other cannabinoids, but minus the THC – which is generally what people using isolates are trying to avoid.
MMA fighter Joe Schilling describes (paraphrased) how cannabis oil killed cancer in his father, “I was able to visit my dad in the hospital. My dad’s prognosis was that he was going to die soon from cancer. He agreed to Cannabis Oil therapy, with CBD but not THC. There was cancer in his lung, cancer in his brain, cancer in his chest, a massive tumor was on his neck. We gave CBD oil to him for something like 7 months. He decided against chemo, he did not want to do it.” Schilling notes his father’s poor diet choices and refusal to take vitamins and states, “the doctors did their tests and graphs, you know the things that they do, and amazingly, 90% of the cancer was gone.  I have no doubt what so ever that it was the CBD oil that killed the cancer because he was doing absolutely nothing else correctly.  The 10% of the cancer that was still alive was surrounded by dead cells and was going to die out too.”
CBD oil has become the general term used when referring to these different oils, but while they derive from the same plant, they are actually quite different. Cannabis CBD oil sometimes contains high quantities of THC (between 5%-10% or even higher), while hemp CBD oil usually contains less than 2% THC. Industrial hemp, on the other hand, contains even less THC (under 0.3%), and therefore can be sold, bought, consumed and shipped legally in some U.S. states.

It depends on the testing standards of the lab administering your drug test. Most companies only search for the cannabinoid THC, which is the main psychoactive component of the marijuana plant. While Medterra products are THC free, there are some testing facilities that check for a spectrum of cannabinoids and could trigger a positive drug test. By law, you are allowed to ask the facility what cannabinoids they test for. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can call and ask anonymously. We suggest contacting the testing facility if there is any concern.
It’s not difficult to find someone who has been impacted by cancer. According to the National Cancer Institute in 2016, an estimated 1,685,210 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States and 595,690 people will die from the disease. In addition, the number of people living beyond a cancer diagnosis reached nearly 14.5 million in 2014 and is expected to rise to almost 19 million by 2024. Newly approved cancer drugs cost an average of $10,000 per month, with some therapies topping $30,000 per month. This doesn’t include the cost of chemotherapy, provider fees, or lost income. These staggering statistics provide a bleak outlook for cancer patients. What if there was a better way to help patients? Could CBD provide any benefits? Let’s look deeper.
However, since the 1950s it has been lumped into the same category of marijuana, and thus the extremely versatile crop was doomed in the United States. Industrial hemp is technically from the same species of plant that psychoactive marijuana comes from. However, it is from a different variety, or subspecies that contains many important differences. The main differences between industrial hemp and marijuana will be discussed below.
